GOOD WILL FIRE CO REACHES 100%, PARTICIPATING DEPT

On 2/4/10 the Good Will Fire Company was awarded the 100 % certification level from the PA State Fire Commissioner's Office. This level is awarded when 100 % of the fire companies active members hold at least one of the state's certification levels. Achieving the 100 % level was the result of a lot of hard work and dedication by the active crew. In 2009 the active crew spent approximately 6,000 hours in training. In addition to the classroom and hands on training, the crews put in the extra time and effort studying to pass the state certification tests. There are only a small number of volunteer fire companies in the area that have achieved the 100 % level of certification. I would like to thank each and every member for the time and effort they dedicated to achieving this goal. We could not have done it without the efforts of each individual member.
