WEST END FIRE CO (COATESVILLE) REACHES 75% FF1: PARTICIPATING DEPT

As the new year rings in the officers and members of the West End Fire Company are pleased to announce that we have obtained our 75 percent National Firefighter 1 Certification.
The purpose of this certification program was setup by the state fire commisioners office to recognize any department with Certified Firefighter 1 personnel. With this program there are four different levels that a company or department may qualify for are the following:
The officers and memebrs of the West End Fire Company would like to thank Lieutenant Carpenter for taking this project on and obtaining this recognition for the company. The officers would also like to thank our volunteer firefighters for spending countless hours perticipating in trainings to obtain this certification. We also will be working very hard and close with the Washington Hose Company officers to assist them with obtaining their 75 percent National Firefighter 1 Certification.
